About Tyler

Tyler Arnold, owner and founder of TSACreations, was born and raised in Texarkana, Arkansas. Tyler graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 2009 with a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. He has been drawing and painting for most of his life, but did not make a full time career out of it until he moved to Little Rock in 2012. After researching art schools and seeking advice from other artists, he decided to forgo any formal training. “I believe that my own techniques are what set me apart from other artists, ” Arnold said. “I get my inspiration from my family, my faith and my love for the outdoors, sports and animals.” He paints with all types of media and adds a personal touch to his pieces by building his own canvases.  Even though the bulk of Tyler's clients request expressions on canvas, his artistic abilities stretch far beyond the paint bush.  Outside of painting, Tyler builds frames for his artwork, he builds furniture, he does leather work, he has done various types of home updates and renovations and he even builds ice chests with speaker boxes!  The sky is the limit when it comes to this man's artistic abilities.  His work is featured in many gallery exhibitions as well as various private art collections. He continues to strive to be above the average and to create new, inspiring works that push boundaries and limits.

Artist Statement
“I love creating new things any chance I get. I never try to limit myself to just paint on canvas. I see art in everything, as well as, in every situation. If I have the ability to do something by myself, and it requires a certain technique or challenge, I will take it on without a doubt. Sometimes I find myself building canvases with no idea of what they will eventually become. I normally have four or five blank canvases at a time; they seem to stare at me and challenge my creativity. Something intrigues me about a blank canvas in the same way a writer is intrigued about a blank piece of paper. It’s simultaneously scary and exciting to know that you can create a masterpiece out of a couple of pieces of wood, some duck cotton and a great idea. I fear ever settling on one type of media because I believe that would limit my creativity. I fear every brushstroke, but I believe that intimidation of being average is what compels me to do what I do and makes my work better each and every time.”
